Advocacy Spotlight: Philadelphia Jewish Coalition on Immigration

Prior to the Senate’s vote on S. 744- the bill designed to overhaul the nation’s immigration system- the Philadelphia Jewish Coalition on Immigration led a campaign to ensure that both of Pennsylvania’s Senators voted in favor of the bill. Though Republican Senator Pat Toomey did not vote in favor of the bill, the advocacy efforts of the coalition remind us how important it is to tell our elected officials to support fair and commonsense immigration reform.
